Mobile Phone Recycling Reviews And Tips To Ensure A Hassle Free Transaction When Selling A Mobile Phone

Mobile phone recycling comparison sites. There are an ever increasing number of these sites around but not all will publish user reviews of the recycling companies themselves. Whether because they are not truly impartial or because maybe they don’t want to scare off a sale, certain comparison sites refuse to allow user review or comment.
One such mobile phone recycling comparison site that does not shy away from letting site users have their say, is mobiles2money. They say they that not showing reviews is a bad thing and positively encourage reviews and comments about any of the mobile phone recyclers that users have sold or recycled their phones to. Whether they are positive or negative experiences, they urge their users to make a quick comment on the service they have received so that other potential phone sellers have some more information on the recycling companies in question.
Because of this, they’re hoping to give their reviews system a bit of an overhaul so that users can enter any order references and other information specific to their transaction so that mobiles2money can have a word with the mobile phone recycler should there start to be a trend towards more negative than positive reviews. Of course, they also understand that people are more likely to write about a bad service experience than a good one, so they also ask that users take this in to account when deciding which recycling company to use. Alongside the phone recycler reviews, they have also given an indication as to how many mobile phones the particular company has bought so this will hopefully balance things up.
Where they do have an order number supplied that they can check on, or a particular number of negative reviews, they say they will ask for a comment from the mobile phone recycler to get their side of the story, so as to try and provide a more balanced experience.
They hope you appreciate that some reviews could be fake and that they cannot check each one for authenticity. However, they believe it is better to give you the opportunity to read and write reviews of the recyclers rather than not to, as seems to be the case with certain Mobile Phone Recycling Comparison web sites!
As a footnote, we asked what steps to take to help minimize any problems that others have had with their transactions.
Non-receipt of mobile phone
To ensure that your mobile phone reaches it’s destination, it is strongly suggested that you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery if your mobile is worth up to around £40 and Royal Mail Special Delivery if your phone is worth more. You can then track the progress of your phone and should it not arrive at the recycler, you can claim for the value on the postal insurance.
Phone Arrived in Damaged Condition
Some of the supplied envelopes from the phone recyclers are not particularly well padded. It makes sense for you to either bubble wrap your phone before using the supplied envelope or use your own padded envelope with the Freepost address written or printed on to it, or indeed, just glue the supplied envelope on to the front of the padded one. While this does not guarantee your phone won’t get damaged in transit, it does the reduce the risks somewhat.
Check you’ve Sent Everything that’s Required
Different phone recyclers have different requirements when you send in your mobile phone so please check before doing so. Most will only require the handset and battery but some may require accessories like the manual, or battery charger – always check before packing the phone up.
Stick with Who you Know
mobiles2money say they have personally checked transactions with all of their phone recyclers and had no problems – if they had, they say, they’d be booted off the site! However, a strong brand name usually comes with a bigger guarantee, they also say, but being as they we wish to remain impartial, they leave the choosing of recyclers entirely up to you. They’ve got many phone recyclers on their site and some will be more familiar to you than others. If you’re unsure of a company, read a bad review somewhere else, or are just a bit worried, why not stick to one of the bigger names? The price offered might not be as high, but hopefully you’ll have more peace of mind.
Howard always like to check out impartial reviews for any goods or services he may be buying, and that includes when it comes to mobile phone recycling. So, he likes to use a good impartial mobile phone recycling comparison web site like mobiles2money.
